PAYMENT AND REFUNDS FOR PLATTERSÂ Â
For grazing platter orders, we would ideally require full payment to secure your booking. However, if your event is in the future and you know you want to book us, but are unsure on your total order then please get in touch to arrange a deposit payment. We can then hold your date! Remaining balance will be due one month ahead of your booking date.
Purchases on platters are non refundable. For orders made and cancelled within 24 hours, a refund will be issued minus a £10 admin fee.Â
Orders requested to be cancelled will be considered dependent on circumstances. Admin fees and additional charges will apply.
Orders requested to be rescheduled will considered dependent on circumstances. This is subject to diary availability. Â

To hold your date we will require a holding deposit of £150 once our quotation has been accepted. Remaining balance and final numbers to cater for will be due one month ahead of your booking.

RETURNSÂ Â
Due to the nature of the product, we cannot accept returns of perishable goods. Â
Evidence may be required to proceed with either a replacement or refund. Â
PRODUCE ON YOUR PLATES
The images that you see on the product description page or on our social channels are for reference only and typically demonstrate our signature work. Produce may vary due to availability and season. We cannot guarantee that what you receive will be exactly the same. Â
FOOD STORAGE AND HANDLINGÂ
Your platter should be kept refrigerated before you enjoy, and we recommend removing around 15 minutes beforehand to eat at the perfect temperature. Â
In line with UK food safety regulations, food should be consumed or disposed of within 4 hours of removing from the fridge. Picky Bits cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions to foods consumed after this time frame. Â
Food should be served in a cool environment and away from sunlight. Â
ALLERGENSÂ Â
Allergens and/or intolerance must be disclosed to us at the point of order so that we can do our very best to accommodate.Â
We unfortunately cannot cate for severe allergies.
We operate in a kitchen filled with a variety of ingredients, so while every care will be taken to avoid cross contamination, we cannot 100% guarantee that our products would not contain traces of the following; Â
Cereals containing gluten (wheat, barley, oats), celery, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide & sulphites and treenuts. Â
DELIVERIESÂ Â
If you require a local delivery (up to 5 miles) and your order exceeds the value of £350, please email us for a delivery quote.
It is the customers responsibility to provide us with their correct delivery address or address of recipient. We cannot take responsibility for any orders taken in at incorrect addresses provided to us. If there is no answer at the property during the given delivery slot, the driver will try the phone number provided before returning your order to HQ where it will be available for collection only.
Deliveries for buffets are inclusive.
GIFT CARDS
Picky Bits gift cards may be applied towards any purchase made in store. Gift cards can also be redeemed against grazing platters and buffets, in store only. Picky Bits gift cards must be redeemed by the expiry date stated on the insert card when the gift card was purchased. Expiry is 12 months from purchase.
Lost gift cards will not be replaced. Picky Bits are not responsible if any gift card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission. Gift cards have no cash redemption value and are not transferable or assignable.
No change will be given for any unused portion of a gift card but the unused balance may be used against further purchases in store. Gift cards cannot be used to buy other gift cards.
If the order exceeds the amount of the gift card, the balance must be paid by card or cash.
Picky Bits reserves the right to refuse to accept a gift card if we believe it has been tampered with.
Please check our monthly shop ‘pop-up’ dates to redeem your gift card against shop purchases.Â
BAKED POSTAL BOXES
It is your responsibility to provide the correct address for delivery and the correct telephone number for tracking information.
Please see all of the small print, terms and allergen information below before purchasing.
Boxes will be sent out on the following Wednesday after ordering, via Royal Mail Tracked 24. This is not a guaranteed next day delivery service so please allow some extra time for your box to arrive. We are not responsible for late deliveries, this will need to be investigated by Royal Mail.Â
If you would like an update on your delivery you can use the tracking service provided by Royal Mail.
These boxes are too big to fit through your letterbox so please make sure you are home to receive this delivery or use tracking to communicate with Royal Mail to arrange a ‘safe place’, neighbour or a re-delivery.
Once the box is on it’s way to you we can no longer accept responsibility for the box and its contents.Â
Refunds can not be issued for missed or redirected deliveries.
We cannot be held responsible for theft or loss of packages that are left unattended outside of venues or properties.
Whilst we endeavour to ensure that every individual product leaves our premises perfectly and safely packaged and intact, breakages do occur in transit which are beyond our control. Please ensure that you are happy with this before purchasing. No refunds will be issued for broken items.
These products are baked in an environment containing celery, cereals containing gluten (wheat, barley and oats), crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide and sulphites and treenuts.
All of our products fall into the ‘may contain nuts’ category, and sadly we are unable to cater for those with severe allergies.
