We have two services that we offer to cater for events at Picky Bits and our full table set up service is the best suited to large groups & milestone events. We have now created hundreds of buffets both large and small. You know a Picky Bits set up when you see one!

This page contains information for our buffet set up service only. If you would like to browse our range of individually priced platters please head to the website shop. For our full table set ups we recommend a minimum of 50 guests and there is an additional fee of £175 for our team to set up and style the table for you. (more on that below)

Our large buffet spreads are suited to your milestone occasions and are filled with a wide variety of foods to suit every stomach. To get a quote, all you need to do is tick the boxes below of those food categories which apply to you and leave the rest to us to create a fabulous spread for your event.

We love to work our magic to create your buffet table in our unmistakable Picky Bits style, and we can work with you on your perfect menu once your booking is confirmed. Of course, please feel free to drop us a request or two if there is anything you particularly have your eye on… or want to avoid!

Below are a list of food categories so you can let us know the vibe for your buffet table. Maybe you are going for nice and easy finger food only? Or perhaps your event is a sit down meal more suited to meat platters and salads. Or… you just WANT IT ALL.

A generous amount of vegetarian options will be available within all buffets.

Vegan options will be provided on request only, with no additional charges.

SET UP £175.00

Our team will deliver the food to your chosen location and set up and style your surface provided complete with all of our serving equipment, boards, props and foilage.

Full set up can take between 1-2 hours depending on event size.

Fee includes overnight hire and collection and cleaning post event.

Locations over 5 miles may incur an additional charge for delivery and collection or you can return to our HQ within 3 days.

You must provide a table or surface away from direct sunlight and ideally inside. You will need to arrange your own plates, napkins and necessary cutlery for your menu.

We ask that any pets that may be attracted to the strong smells of food be kept away from the set-up space.

HOW TO SECURE YOUR DATE

Once you have filled in our form & have your quote we will require a deposit payment of 50% of the total quote. This will secure your chosen date and time.

We appreciate that you may not always know exactly how many you are catering for if you are making plans for your event way in advance. So any final changes to numbers can be made 3 weeks before. A large drop in the numbers at that point may incur a charge as we we may have turned away bookings in favour of yours.

Remaining balances must be settled 21 days before your event date.

FINGER FOOD - No need for cutlery with these picky bits. All of the bitesize picnic favourites that your traditional buffet table can't do without! Featuring our almost famous sausage rolls, cheese twists, samosas, quiche and more!SANDWICH OPTIONS - Freshly made sandwiches on a variety of breads with homemade fillings.FISH OPTIONS - roasted salmon, garlic prawns, mackarel pate served with cream cheese, blinis & salad.SALADS - these go perfectly alongside our main dishes. Coleslaw, potato salad and a mix of classic salad bowls.CHEESE GRAZING SELECTION - served with breads, crackers, locally made chutney. With all of the grazing goodness to complement; antipasti, crudite, fresh & dried fruits, nuts & seeds. With or without charcuterie.DESSERTS - homemade brownies, sweet treats, cheesecakes, macarons & fresh berries.AFTERNOON TEA GRAZE - a selection of finger sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones, cream, jam, cakes, macarons & berries.

All tables come with a selection of antipasti and crudite which will complement the options you have chosen!

At Picky Bits we are well known for putting on a jaw dropping spread and take great pride in delivering not only your catering, but an excellent service to go with it! Leave the hard work to us and you can relax knowing your event catering is taken care of.
